History Turns a Page
By Hazel Nut 1939
For the first time in history the engineering sciences
are being utilised in the study of life and death, pain and disease.
Vital changes that occur in the journey from the cradle to the grave
have been discovered. Changes so vital that no man striving to improve
himself can afford to ignore them or fail to understand them.
Looking backward through the distant past, we can see the trail
along which man has passed. When man first appeared upon the pages
of history he had developed to the point where he was able to leave
behind the records of his work. "By his work shall you know
him" is everlastingly true. We find him in the Stone Age, the
Bronze Age, the Iron Age, and the Machine Age. Each age you will
notice, is noted by man's degree of development and abilities. As
these abilities grew so did man's habits, customs, position and
thoughts change. Out of his trials and tribulations, his experiences
and experiments, society slowly appeared and civilisation took form.
If we in sober thought but glance across our landscape, we must
marvel at the accomplishments of man and his complex social structure.
The speed and accuracy of our development as indicated for instance,
in our transportation and communication systems. The productiveness
both quality and quantity of our farms and factories is amazing
to the unaccustomed. Behind it all, whether it be the intricacy
of the modern laboratory or the massive productiveness of industry,
lies not tricks but organised knowledge. Knowledge that anybody
who will, can learn. This knowledge is embraced in the engineering
sciences.
In exact proportion that this knowledge has accumulated and in
exact proportion that man has learned to master it, has man become
master of his fate. With it he has become master of the beasts of
the fields, the birds of the air, the fish of the sea, and finally
of these elements themselves. Knowledge has so awakened man and
so empowered him with conscious purpose that with definite aim and
method he has taken the material as he found it and shaped it for
his own needs. His implements of war and peace: his houses and his
homes: his means of travel and communication form the Stone Age
down to the present time are the result of the application of his
engineering skill. Civilisation, the museums and all history tell
a story which those who will, may read.
As these lines are being written mankind is entering a new era.
With the same tools with which he mastered the material he is learning
to master himself. He is beginning to look upon the organic with
the same cold facts with which he mastered the inorganic. He is
learning that he must forget personal opinions: and if he values
it at all it must be because it coincides with proven facts. Principles
are the watchword of the day. Principles that have weathered the
wear of age and stood the test of time.
Time-tried principles applied to new problems is what the world
is looking for. The principles which the Egyptians used to construct
their lasting pyramids, which the Mayas used to build their temples,
which the Chinese used and which modern Americans use. These principles,
the principles of applied mechanics and physics are applicable in
the study of those changes within the human body that are usually
spoken of as disease.
There is another time-tried principle which reads, "the fittest
shall survive". This principle works for the betterment of
the race. As the world moves on, man becomes what he is because
of this law. The world continues to move and man is still in flux.
Are you preparing yourself for the changes that lie ahead? When
the race is to the swift and the fight is to the strong where will
you be next month, next year, or ten years hence? What will these
new forces that mould society do to you?
Get acquainted with Aquarian Age Healing. From an engineering standpoint
learn what life is, what death is, what disease is, when it occurs,
how it occurs and what to do about it.
John L Hurley, really the only Bio-Engineer in the world, through
more than 30 years of study and research work, has discovered how
strictly engineering principles can be applied to the body and to
human ills. Not only has he worked out the principles, but they
are put into practical use every day by hundreds of doctors in the
country. Skilled technicians prove how with the proper application
of a simple technique, beneficial and constructive changes can be
secured in every person within thirty minutes, regardless of the
trouble complained of.
As people are beginning to realise that this is the only scientific
approach to the correction of the cause of disease, therefore it's
"cure", there has been more and more demand for information
and instruction. To meet this demand we have provided the facilities
necessary. Professional classes are taught to doctors of all schools
where not only the simple technique is taught but also more advanced
work. For those who live too far away or are unable to come here
an excellent correspondence course is provided. So, wherever you
are, you can take advantage of this wonderful new discovery that
is doing so much to rid humanity of its ills and to make us a happier,
more prosperous race.
