News about our courses
Exciting Developments
Next year (2009) we are only planning to run one practitioner course in the
UK. This is the one starting in February. If you were thinking about doing
the Practitioner Course during 2009 then you need to have done a Foundation
Course before February. The only Foundation Course left before February is
the one at the end of November 2008. For the exact dates click
here.
So why only one next year?
We may be involved in a couple of joint ventures with other course providers
next year who are outside of the UK. The details haven't been finalised so
we're not in a position to talk about them yet. (It means that if you miss
the course starting in February you will have to wait until 2010 for the
next one. Gosh, that sounds a long way off when you put it like that). As
we also want a private life with our family we don't want to over-commit
ourselves.
More excitement
We are also hoping to put the final touches to our advanced training (The
Master Practitioner Course) during next year too; with a possible launch
date sometime in the autumn. The Master Practitioner Course will be a series
of modules in which we will go over some of the advanced techniques of John
Hurley and Helen Sanders. We will also be teaching a way to more accurately
assess people without a plumb line, which will make it much easier when dealing
with non-ambulatory recipients.
More details will be in a future issue of the Plumbline.
We are only planning to run one Master Practitioner Course a year so it would
be useful to us to gauge how much interest there might be for this kind of
thing. Please email us if you are
interested in learning this material. A registering of interest in no way
commits you to attending the course; it just allows us to plan our diary
more effectively.
You will need to hold the Ishta Spinal Touch Practitioner Certificate to
come on this course as it will run on from the work we covered on the
Practitioner Course. As a result the last opportunity to qualify for the
Master Practitioner Course is the Practitioner Course we are running in February. |
